As the son of performers, Ric has a special affinity for theater design. Both he and Kurt studied in Europe and bring the European penchant for intimate venues to the work, seating as many people as close as possible to the stage. The firm pioneered the use of electric rigging in San Diego County with The Maxine Theater in Valley Center.
