We foster communication through our project management process that we term “VALUE DESIGN.”  We have built this upon the value management process developed by SAVE International (The Society of American Value Engineers).  This is a workshop-based system used first to program and then to evaluate the most effective design and engineering solutions for any construction project.  Value Design consists of three phases: Pre-Design, Workshop, and Implementation.

  • Pre-Design Phase entails information gathering.
  • Workshop Phase is the heart of the VALUE DESIGN process. This phase signals the start of design.
  • Implementation Phase concludes as the design development documents are prepared.

The primary benefit of the VALUE DESIGN process is that it gives our clients an opportunity to evaluate life-cycle costs, along with quality and function alternatives, against pre-established design benchmarks.  Together, we can make informed decisions when the cost/benefit ratio is most advantageous.
